Textcoach™ Coaches are tenured and empathetic licensed clinical professionals who possess the following characteristics:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in a mental health discipline from an accredited university;

  • Professional license(s) that is current, in good standing and issued by the state to practice independently;

  • Average of eleven (11) years post-graduate experience providing mental health or employee assistance (EAP) services;

  • Board-Certified TeleMental Health Accreditation (BC-TMH);

  • Ability to collect data, establish facts, define problems and draw valid conclusions throughout the course of Coaching.

After registering on the platform and completing a short questionnaire, new users are mapped to a Coach based on their background and availability. Participants are then presented with a short bio of the Coach, similar to the sample on this page, and can begin communicating immediately.
